Cross-tenant notification tampering via unchecked record key
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Authorization bypass in CERT/CC VINCE before 3.0.44 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter another vendor's email settings. The ModifyEmailNotifications view fetches a VinceCommEmail object by the raw primary key in the URL and, before the fix, toggles email_function or exposes email and name without verifying that the object's contact belongs to the requester's group. A vendor administrator account and a valid cross-vendor record key are required; exploitation changes another vendor's notification routing or discloses that contact's name and email address.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
