CVE-2026-1874Network attack vector

Unauthenticated service halt via UDP buffer exhaustion

Published Mar 3, 2026 · Updated Mar 3, 2026

Denial of service in Mitsubishi Electric FX5-ENET/IP 1.106 and earlier and FX5-EIP 1.000 and earlier allows remote attackers to halt both modules. The Ethernet function follows an always-incorrect control-flow path that lets continuous UDP traffic consume the receive buffer without bounding consumption. No authentication or user interaction is required; the affected module remains unavailable until a system reset.
