Authenticated service interruption via bounds-check integer overflow
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Integer overflow in IBM NetServer releases 7.3 through 7.6 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service with crafted requests. NetServer request-processing bounds checks use integer arithmetic that can overflow and force an exception in a server thread. An authenticated network session is required, and the resulting denial of service is temporary and limited to the affected service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
