CVE-2026-18612Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Unauthenticated root command execution via package name

Published Aug 3, 2026 · Updated Aug 3, 2026

Command injection in GL.iNet Beryl AX firmware 4.4.0 through 4.4.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root. The plugins.remove_package and plugins.install_package handlers apply only a private-package substring blacklist before interpolating args.name into an opkg command executed by system(). The unauthenticated /cgi-bin/glc route exposes both handlers to hosts that can reach the management interface, enabling full router compromise.
