Unauthenticated stored XSS via forged proxy header
Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in WP Photo Album Plus 9.2.08.003 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via a forged proxy header. A failed nonce check for getshortcodedrenderedfenodelay passes the unsanitized X-Forwarded-For value to wppa_log(), which stores it for later unescaped output. No account is required to reach wp_ajax_nopriv_wppa, but execution occurs when a user accesses a page containing the injected log entry.
