Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped width attribute
Published Mar 21, 2026 · Updated Mar 21, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in deckercz iVysilani Shortcode 3.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via width values. The shortcode renderer inserts the untrusted width attribute directly into generated iframe markup without sufficient sanitization or contextual output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store a crafted shortcode in a page, and the injected script runs in the browser of each user who visits that page.
