Account takeover via client-keyed reset attempt counters

Improper authentication in XootiX Login & Register Forms 3.2.5 through 4.0.1 allows remote attackers to take over accounts via reset-code brute force. The password-reset workflow keys both verification codes and per-source attempt counters on client-controlled data, letting attackers rotate that data and reset the guessing limit. The flaw is reachable only when verification-code reset mode is enabled; successful guessing resets the victim's password and grants control of that account, including an administrator account.
