Administrator takeover via non-numeric item_id coercion
Published Aug 16, 2026 · Updated Aug 16, 2026
Privilege escalation in DynamiApps Frontend Admin 3.29.9 and earlier allows attackers to take over an administrator account via item_id. ActionUser::conditions_logic() skips current_user_can('edit_user', $user_id) for a non-numeric identifier, while WordPress later coerces that signed _acf_objects value to user ID 1. Unauthenticated access requires a public frontend user form; otherwise subscriber-level access is required to reset the default administrator's password or email.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
