Unauthenticated stored XSS via entity-encoded text fields
Published Sep 5, 2026 · Updated Sep 7, 2026
Stored XSS in Brainstorm Force SureForms 2.12.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through public text fields. The form-submission path stores entity-encoded text without neutralizing executable markup, and the entry display path renders the decoded value without context-safe escaping. No account is required to submit a payload, but execution requires a user to open a page that renders the stored entry.
