CVE-2026-1840Network attack vector

Unauthenticated device restart via exposed web functions

Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026

Missing authentication in Hubbell Aclara Metrum Cellular Web Interface before 2.1.0.105 allows remote attackers to restart devices. The web interface exposes critical configuration and restart functions without checking an authenticated identity, permitting unrestricted operational-parameter changes. Network reachability is sufficient; repeated restarts can interrupt normal operation and cause loss of device communications.
