CVE-2026-18351Network attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via MIME allowlist bypass

Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026

Arbitrary file upload in Drag and Drop File Upload for Elementor Forms 1.6.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP code. The elementor_file_upload path passes attacker-controlled type values to is_file_type_valid as MIME-allowlist regex keys, permitting a crafted extension that sanitize_file_name later normalizes to PHP. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation places executable content on the WordPress server.
