CVE-2026-1830Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via REST upload chain

Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026

Missing authorization in Quick Playground 1.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through exposed REST endpoints. The public blueprint endpoint returns the qckply_sync_code value, while upload_image accepts that code, base64 content, and a path-traversing filename to write PHP outside its intended directory. Network access to the WordPress REST API and an active vulnerable plugin are sufficient; no account or user interaction is required, and execution has the web server process's privileges.
