Authorization bypass in udev rules in Sony XAV-9500ES 3.02.00 allows physically present attackers to instantiate restricted USB device types. The flaw is in the device's udev rule set, which accepts properties from a crafted attached USB device and uses them to instantiate otherwise restricted device classes instead of enforcing that boundary after trusted device validation.
