Root code execution via firmware-update symlink

Link following in the firmware update process in JVCKENWOOD DNR1007XR 1.7.0003.1000 allows physically proximate attackers to execute code. The updater follows an attacker-created symbolic link and moves a file to an arbitrary path, letting untrusted update content overwrite privileged locations. Exploitation requires physical access to place the crafted update material on the device, after which the arbitrary file move can yield root-level code execution.
