Command injection in NoMachine NoMachine 9.7.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via the getstat handler. The web service on TCP port 4000 passes a user-supplied string from getstat into a system call without proper validation, enabling OS command execution in the service account context. Reachability requires valid credentials to the exposed web interface; successful exploitation yields code execution as the NoMachine service account rather than an automatic system-level takeover.
