Protected-content disclosure via timing-based token guessing
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Timing-based access bypass in Drupal Token Content Access before 3.1.2 allows remote attackers to disclose protected content. The module compares supplied URL access tokens in a way that exposes response-time differences, allowing repeated guesses to converge on a valid token. Exploitation requires discovering a protected-content URL and persistently measuring comparison timings; success reveals only content guarded by that token.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
