CVE-2026-18245Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unquoted theme keys

Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026

Code injection in AWS Amplify Codegen UI before 2.20.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through crafted theme keys. ReactThemeStudioTemplateRenderer passed attacker-controlled StudioTheme keys to factory.createIdentifier(), which emitted them verbatim into generated TSX instead of quoting non-identifiers. Execution occurs when affected code renders or builds a crafted Studio theme, reaching browsers, developer machines, CI/CD jobs, or server-side rendering processes.
