Unauthorized access via unvalidated authentication parameters
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Improper authentication in IBMi 7.3 through 7.6 DDM/DRDA allows remote attackers to gain unauthorized access via authentication parameters. The DDM/DRDA server inadequately validates client-supplied authentication parameters before granting access. Network reachability to the service is required; IBM has not disclosed the accepted parameter combination or the privileges obtained.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
