CVE-2026-18167

Daemon crash or code execution via EasyMesh overflow

Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in TP-Link Archer AX55 v4 firmware allows attackers to crash or execute code via crafted LAN input. The EasyMesh module passes crafted input to the easymesh daemon, but TP-Link has not disclosed the affected function or exact bounds-checking failure. Mesh mode must be enabled and the attacker must have LAN reachability; exploitation can stop the daemon or run code on the router.
