Credential disclosure via unvalidated external SQL certificates
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Cleartext transmission in Ivanti Endpoint Manager before 2024 SU7 allows remote attackers to obtain external SQL credentials through MITM interception. The Core fails to validate the external SQL server certificate, allowing an impersonated database endpoint to receive connection credentials. Exploitation requires remote attackers able to intercept or redirect Core-to-database traffic; the exposed credentials can compromise the configured external SQL connection.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
