CVE-2026-1810Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file write via unchecked ZIP entries

Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026

Path traversal in Bolo-Solo 2.6.0 through 2.6.4 allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files via ZIP import. The unpackFilteredZip method in BackupService.java filters only hidden and __MACOSX entries, then extracts attacker-controlled ZIP entry paths without rejecting parent-directory sequences. Access to the administrative Markdown import endpoint is required; a crafted archive can escape the extraction directory and place attacker-chosen content elsewhere on the server.
