Missing authorization in Motorola Mobility Smart Connect before 9.03.00.61 allows local users to escalate privileges via the mobile UI. The Android dashboard accepts manipulation by third-party apps without enforcing the authorization boundary required for privileged actions. Exploitation requires a malicious local app and interaction with a phishing link, after which the attacker can compromise or manipulate the device.
