Sandboxed code execution via V8 type confusion
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Type confusion in V8 in Google Chrome before 151.0.7922.72 allows remote attackers to execute code in the sandbox via crafted HTML. The restricted Chromium issue does not disclose the affected V8 operation or how crafted values are accessed with an incompatible type. A user must open the attacker-controlled page; successful exploitation executes code only inside Chrome's sandbox, with no demonstrated sandbox escape.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
