Unauthenticated stored XSS via unescaped URL path
Published Feb 14, 2026 · Updated Feb 14, 2026
Stored XSS in Owen Cutajar GeoWidget 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted URL path. GeoWidget.php renders the request URL path into widget-generated page output without sanitizing the input or escaping it for HTML. No authentication is required to inject the payload, but a user must access the injected page before the script runs in that site's browser context.
