Cross-origin data disclosure via NFC policy bypass
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Origin validation error in NFC in Google Chrome on Android before 151.0.7922.72 allows remote attackers to leak cross-origin data via crafted HTML. The restricted Chromium issue and vendor notice do not disclose which NFC policy check accepts or exposes data from an untrusted origin. Exploitation requires a user to load attacker-controlled HTML; the reported consequence is cross-origin data disclosure without integrity or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
