Same-origin policy bypass
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Origin validation error in Google Chrome for iOS before 151.0.7922.72 allows remote attackers to bypass the same-origin policy. Google has not disclosed the faulty Chrome for iOS code path or the origin-validation operation that mishandles the crafted HTML page. Exploitation requires a user to open attacker-controlled HTML and perform specific UI gestures; the documented consequence is limited to bypassing cross-origin restrictions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
