Cross-origin script injection via crafted HTML page
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Universal cross-site scripting in Google Chrome before 151.0.7922.72 allows remote attackers to inject scripts via a crafted HTML page. Google identifies the Network component, but the restricted issue record does not disclose which request or response operation mishandles the page. A user must open the crafted page; injected content executes in an unintended origin, enabling reads or changes within that origin's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
