Sandbox escape via ANGLE out-of-bounds access
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Out-of-bounds memory access in ANGLE in Google Chrome before 151.0.7922.72 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox via crafted HTML. Google identifies both out-of-bounds reads and writes in ANGLE, but the restricted issue does not disclose the affected function or failed bounds check. A user must open attacker-controlled HTML; successful exploitation crosses renderer isolation and accesses resources normally blocked by the sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
