Sandbox escape via Receiver policy bypass
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Policy bypass in Receiver in Google Chrome before 151.0.7922.72 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. Google has not disclosed which Receiver policy decision mishandles the crafted page because the underlying Chromium issue remains restricted. Exploitation requires prior compromise of a renderer process and user interaction; the escape crosses the renderer sandbox boundary.
