Sandbox escape via ANGLE use-after-free
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Use after free in ANGLE in Google Chrome before 151.0.7922.72 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox via crafted HTML. ANGLE accesses an object after its storage has been freed, but Google's restricted bug report does not disclose the object, function, or lifetime sequence. A user must load the crafted page; successful exploitation crosses Chrome's renderer sandbox, while the public record does not establish code execution outside it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
