Renderer-compromise site-isolation bypass via crafted HTML
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Site-isolation bypass in Google Chrome before 151.0.7922.72 allows remote attackers with a compromised renderer to defeat process separation. Google identifies the Extensions component but has not published which implementation error mishandles the crafted HTML. Exploitation requires a crafted HTML page, user interaction, and prior renderer compromise; the bounded impact is loss of isolation rather than a reported sandbox escape.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
