Administrator file upload via skipped type validation
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in RomanCode MapSVG 8.14.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write files through the SVG endpoint. The SVGFile constructor uses an incorrect conditional check that skips file-type validation before accepting an uploaded file. Administrator-level access is required, and executable uploaded content enables server-side code execution when the server exposes it for execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
