Sandbox escape via ANGLE out-of-bounds read
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in ANGLE in Google Chrome before 151.0.7922.72 allows remote attackers to escape the macOS sandbox via crafted HTML. Google's public release identifies an ANGLE out-of-bounds read, but the restricted issue does not disclose which routine reads past which buffer boundary. Exploitation requires user interaction with the crafted page and prior compromise of Chrome's renderer process; success escapes that renderer's sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
