Crash or heap disclosure via performer-tag over-read

Out-of-bounds read in tracker-extract-mp3 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, 9, and 10 allows local users to crash the extractor via a crafted MP3 file. extract_performers_tags passes csize minus the tag offset to the text converter but omits the current buffer position, overstating the bytes remaining after the performer pointer. The attack requires local low-privileged access and user interaction to process the file; the over-read crashes tracker-extract on unmapped memory or exposes adjacent heap data.
