Sandbox escape via Compositing use-after-free
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Use-after-free in Google Chrome Compositing before 151.0.7922.72 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox through crafted HTML. Google has not disclosed the freed object or the invalid Compositing lifetime operation because the underlying issue remains access-restricted. Exploitation requires user interaction with the page and prior compromise of the renderer process; escape crosses Chrome's renderer sandbox into a more privileged process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
