Authenticated code execution via AST scanner bypass
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Code injection in IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.10.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through crafted Python. The AST-based security scanner accepts crafted Python without enforcing all intended restrictions before affected component-generation, validation, and custom-component paths execute it. IBM has not disclosed the mishandled AST nodes or scanner function; authenticated access is required, and successful exploitation runs code in the Langflow process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=1.0.0 <=1.10.3
