Account password change via omitted current-password verification
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Improper authentication in IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.10.2 allows remote authenticated users to change their account password. The password-reset endpoint accepts a current-password field but never compares it with the stored credential before applying the replacement. An existing authenticated session is required, and the endpoint is limited to the caller's own account; the change can preserve access after session compromise and permit a one-character password.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
