Code execution via multipart response length miscalculation
Published Feb 2, 2026 · Updated Feb 2, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in libsoup on affected Red Hat Enterprise Linux releases allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. soup_filter_input_stream_read_until() miscalculates the multipart delimiter length and copies more response data than the caller-provided stack buffer can hold. Exploitation requires an application to process a crafted multipart HTTP response from an untrusted server; the overflow causes memory corruption, application crashes, or arbitrary code execution without authentication or user interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
