CVE-2026-17542Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Subscriber data disclosure via unchecked connector access

Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Missing authorization in Bit Apps Bit File Manager before 6.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to download sensitive site files. The bitapps_fm_connector endpoint serves an ABSPATH-rooted elFinder volume without a capability check, exposing recursive listings and downloads for allowed MIME types. Subscriber access is sufficient on single-site WordPress; multisite limits readable types, and unauthenticated requests and writes remain denied.
