Unauthenticated activity-log disclosure via unchecked REST route

Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Information disclosure in Bit Apps Bit File Manager before 6.9.1 allows remote attackers to read file activity logs via a REST request. The POST /wp-json/file-manager/v1/logs/all route returns log rows without a capability check and accepts an unbounded limit parameter. The plugin must have been used on 6.8.8 or earlier, later updated, and contain a logged file operation; exposed data includes paths, user IDs, display names, and timestamps, but not file contents.
