CVE-2026-17534

Internal service access via FetchURL SSRF bypass

Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026

SSRF in Moonshot AI Kimi Code CLI before 0.27.0 allows context-dependent attackers to reach internal services through FetchURL. The assertSafeFetchTarget check compares only static hostnames and IP literals, so it neither resolves hostnames before connection nor revalidates redirect destinations. A FetchURL call influenced by untrusted content, including prompt injection, is sufficient because the tool is auto-approved in manual mode; the bounded consequence is access to loopback or internal network services.
