Reflected XSS via HMAC bypass and unescaped output
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Reflected XSS in Seraphinite Accelerator 2.29.18 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via seraph_accel_prep. CacheExtractPreparePageParams loosely compares an expected HMAC with a JSON-decoded nonce, so boolean true bypasses validation, while _CbContentFinishSkip inserts selfTest into HTML without escaping. Exploitation requires a victim to follow a crafted link; successful script execution is confined to the victim's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
