Reflected XSS via post-escaping marker replacement
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Reflected XSS in Cozmoslabs TranslatePress 3.2.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts via a crafted search request. The translate_page() function replaces #!trpst# and #!trpen# markers in the escaped HTML response with literal angle brackets, restoring executable markup from the s parameter. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted link, after which the script executes in the vulnerable site's browser origin and can read or alter page-accessible data.
