Stack-based buffer overflow in IBM Power Systems Firmware FW1120.00 and FW1110.00 through FW1110.30 allows local users to execute host code. IBM locates the flaw in the BMC-to-host command interface but has not published the affected function or unsafe stack-buffer operation. Service-level BMC access is required; successful exploitation grants full control of the host and every hosted partition.
