CVE-2026-17349Network attack vector

Unauthorized credential use via cross-tenant server cloning

Published Jul 31, 2026 · Updated Jul 31, 2026

Authorization bypass in pgAdmin 4 9.0 through 9.16 allows remote authenticated users to use another user's stored database credentials. The Workspaces adhoc_connect_server route calls Server.clone(), copying ownership and saved password fields into a persistent cross-tenant row. Exploitation requires access to another user's shared server definition; the resulting clone connects with that user's database privileges.
