CVE-2026-1731Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Pre-authentication command execution via Bash arithmetic evaluation

Published Feb 6, 2026 · Updated Feb 6, 2026

OS command injection in BeyondTrust Remote Support 25.3.1 and earlier and PRA 24.3.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands. The WebSocket-reachable thin-scc-wrapper script evaluates the attacker-controlled remoteVersion value as a Bash arithmetic expression, so embedded command substitution runs before its numeric comparison. No authentication or user interaction is required; commands run as the site user and expose appliance configuration, managed sessions, and network traffic.
