Unauthenticated host-server denial of service via infinite loop
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Infinite-loop denial of service in IBM operating-system releases 7.3 through 7.6 allows remote attackers to interrupt a host server. IBM has not disclosed which host-server routine enters the infinite loop or which request value prevents termination. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is service interruption without data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
