Out-of-bounds write in the Line Printer Daemon on IBM operating system releases 7.3 through 7.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The public advisory identifies only the out-of-bounds write in LPD and does not disclose the responsible routine, field, or malformed request. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code on the affected system.
