Unauthenticated data access via URI path validation
Published Aug 14, 2026 · Updated Aug 14, 2026
Authentication bypass in IBM Db2 Mirror 7.4, 7.5, and 7.6 allows remote attackers to read or alter sensitive data. The administrative GUI improperly validates URI path segments, allowing crafted request paths to reach protected operations without authentication. Network access to the GUI is sufficient; exposed operations can disclose or modify sensitive data, and IBM has not published endpoint-level details.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
