Authenticated user PII disclosure via omitted filtering
Published Jul 24, 2026 · Updated Jul 24, 2026
Authorization bypass in Red Hat build of Keycloak allows remote authenticated users to disclose restricted user PII through the role-users API. RoleResource.getRoleUserMembers checks permission to view the role but returns full member representations without applying the per-user view filter. Restricted administrative privileges such as query-users and view-realm suffice to enumerate usernames, email addresses, and full names for otherwise hidden realm users.
